Outreach
My outreach program aims to provide objective and relevant information on rangeland management to individuals, organizations, and communities. My goal is to facilitate understanding for the management and conservation of working landscapes, and to create learning opportunities for land stewards.

Dave Showalter

Dave is a nature photographer that focuses on western conservation issues. We collaborated on a sagebrush songbird study near Pinedale, WY, with Anna Chalfoun, and I hope to continue working with Dave in the future. Dave is an associate Fellow Photographer in the International League of Conservation Photographers, and his work has done an excellent job of highlighting the importance of often-overlooked ecosystems, like prairie and sagebrush. He has graciously given me permission to use his photos on this website, and more of his work can be found here.
